 We are excited to introduce the new Family Time. She is a Custom-Built Buddy Harris Sport fisher that is powered with a Detroit Diesel 735 HP engine. She is a true classic that was built here in NC for fishing the waters off our coast.
The boat is 46' long and 15' 6" wide for the ultimate in size and stability offshore. The vessel has a large cockpit which is the main fishing are equipped with triple spread outriggers, Pompanette fighting chair and large fish holds for your iced down catch. In the Salon, you will find comfortable couches for your ride to and from the fishing grounds or to just take a break during the day and get out of the sun and elements. Also located in the Salon we have a refrigerator-freezer along with a microwave for your use during the day. Forward of the salon we offer a full-size restroom for your comfort during your trip. With safety being the upmost concern the vessel is equipped with all top of the line safety gear from ACR such as EPIRB and PLB's along with offshore life preservers and Life Raft.

The fall fishing is in full swing with lots of King Mackerel and Blue Fish. The offshore fishing has been full swing also with Wahoo Blackfin Tuna and bottom fish.    The Wahoo fishing is starting to really fire up and get going for the Fall fishery. If you are interested in catching wahoo and alot of them give me a call. The Crystal Coast is beautiful this time of year and the weather at Atlantic Beach is nice also. 
 Team Family Time was very blessed this year during the 2023 S.H.A.R.E. King Mackerel Tournament. We came in 2nd place with a 40.18 Lb King Mackerel. This is a very well run tournament that all should fish.    Family Time Fishing Charters Won 1st place in the Carolina Beach Got Em On King Mackerel Tournament with a 53.03 pound King Mackerel.
The weather is getting warm and water is also. We have started catching our first Spanish Mackerels of the season. The bottom fishing has been really good also for the Vermilion Snapper and Trigger fish. Gulf Stream trips have been producing Black Fin Tuna and Wahoo. Family Time Fishing Charters is finishing up seasonal maintenance and will be in the water soon and raring to go fishing! We have made several upgrades this year to include all new Simrad electronics, Radar, and Fish finder. Brake Marine canvas has also built us some complete wrap around curtains to keep us dry on the ride out and back. Last Spring saw good numbers of Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna, limits of Kings and big Wahoo! Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Morehead City and the surrounding Crystal Coast area has great late winter deals at local restaurants and hotels. Come on down and fill the freezer! Atlantic Beach Fishing Charter Emerald Isle Fishing Charter   The King Mackerel and Mahi Mahi bite has been great this year during the summer so far. I have had good success with the King Mackerel during the Full day Offshore trips fishing to the south in 100ft of water of Emerald Isle and Topsail island. We also can bottom fish on this trip if you like Snapper, Triggerfish and Grouper.
